President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf will take part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference TESC 2025, which will be held on June 5, 2025. The participation of the head of the Azerbaijani state company will be one of the central moments of the forum dedicated to the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies in the oil and gas industry.
The organizers of the upcoming forum are the Turkmen state concerns “Turkmengas”, “Turkmennebit” and the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” in partnership with the “Turkmen Energy Forum” Economic Society with the support of S&P Global Commodity Insights (Platts) and the British company GaffneyCline.
The participation of SOCAR management in the conference is a strategic priority for the company to expand regional cooperation and invest in innovation.
Meetings between the heads of national oil and gas companies and top managers of large international organizations are planned on the sidelines of the event. Key topics of discussion will be decarbonization, optimization of hydrocarbon production at mature fields using artificial intelligence, and the use of innovations to solve problems of methane and CO2 emissions.
The TESC 2025 conference will bring together delegates from more than 26 countries. Participants include representatives of the UN, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), PETRONAS Carigali, Dragon Oil, Eni Turkmenistan Limited, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and other leading international organizations.
