President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Moscow to take part in the ceremonial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the Turkmenistan International Information Center reports.

“The visit of the Turkmen leader became a testament to deep respect and memory of the feat of the Soviet people in the fight against fascism, as well as a symbol of strong friendly ties between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation,” the statement said.

It is worth noting that the Victory Parade in Moscow will begin at 12:00 Ashgabat time and will last until approximately 13:00. As previously reported, the Honor Guard Company of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan will take part in the parade.
