29 foreign leaders will attend the Victory Parade in Moscow

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov announced that 29 foreign leaders will take part in the parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow, “RIA Novosti” reports.

According to Ushakov, the heads of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Venezuela, Vietnam, Guinea-Bissau, Egypt, Zimbabwe, China, Congo, Cuba, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Palestine, Serbia, Slovakia, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia and South Ossetia will be among those present at the event.

India, Nicaragua and South Africa will send high-level delegations, while North Korea will be represented at ambassadorial level. The parade on May 9 on Red Square will feature parade formations from 13 countries.

"The ninth of May is the main day of our celebrations. It begins with a ceremony where our president welcomes the heads of foreign delegations. Then they all go to Red Square together and take their places in the stands. Traditionally, the military parade begins at 10:00," the Russian presidential assistant explained.
