Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Bashimova held a meeting with the President of the Scientific Foundation of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Professor Seyed Komail Tayebi, where the parties discussed key areas of scientific and technical cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
During the talks, the participants stressed the importance of strengthening scientific ties and implementing joint projects in the field of science, technology and innovation, which will contribute to economic growth and regional integration.
Particular attention was paid to the fact that cooperation in the scientific field is an effective tool for strengthening mutual understanding between countries, transferring advanced technologies and achieving common development goals.
The priority areas of partnership included: energy development, including renewable energy sources, environmental research and environmental protection, innovations in agriculture and water resources management, as well as digitalization and the introduction of modern information technologies.
