1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri, during which the diplomat presented his credentials to the head of state. During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations. It was noted that trade turnover between the countries is growing annually, and there are all the necessary conditions for further intensification of cooperation.
2. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Executive Secretary of the International Center for Transport Diplomacy Igor Runov, during which the parties discussed the prospects for developing international transport cooperation. The participants in the talks emphasized that improving the legal and logistical framework for international transportation is a priority area of bilateral relations.
3. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova held a meeting with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ashgabat Azizbek Madmarov, during which the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda. During the talks, the diplomats confirmed the readiness of both countries to continue the practice of mutual support for initiatives in international organizations. Particular attention was paid to issues of partnership in the field of security, sustainable development and environmental protection.
4. Turkmenistan has issued a Law on accession to the 1988 Protocol to the International Convention on Load Lines. The International Convention on Load Lines was adopted on the initiative of the International Maritime Organization on April 5, 1966 in London.
5. Starting from June 10, Turkish Airlines plans to increase the number of weekly flights on the Istanbul-Ashgabat-Istanbul route to 17. This was announced by Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok during an event dedicated to Turkey Tourism Week. According to the diplomat, the number of flights has been increased from 11 to 14 per week since April 1 of this year. The ambassador noted the growing interest of Turkmen citizens in Turkey as a tourist destination.
6. A working meeting with a representative of the American diplomatic mission was held at the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by the Second Secretary of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan Brian Howard Grandjean. The participants discussed the current state of bilateral migration relations and noted the significant potential for developing mutually beneficial partnership in this area.

1. The European Union has adopted updated rules for issuing driver's licenses. The key innovation will be the introduction of digital licenses, which citizens will be able to store on their mobile devices. Electronic driver's licenses are planned to be available to all EU residents by 2030. Digital licenses will be officially recognized in all EU member states, while citizens will retain the opportunity to obtain traditional plastic licenses. The validity period of both formats will be 15 years.

2. According to a report by the European Space Agency, the situation with pollution of near-Earth space continues to worsen. At least 6600 tons of space waste are currently located in low Earth orbit - at an altitude of 160 to 2000 km. Just a year ago, this figure was about 6000 tons, which indicates a rapid growth of the problem. Experts note that space debris poses a serious threat to functioning satellites.

1. Anna Charyeva and Jahan Rejepova brought Turkmenistan two bronze medals at the World Junior Rapid Chess Championship in Rhodes, Greece. In the U8 girls category, Anna Charyeva scored 8 points out of 11 possible, losing only to the champion from Kazakhstan and the silver medalist from India. Jahan Rejepova, competing in the U16 girls category, also scored 8 points. In the second round, she defeated the future tournament champion from Kazakhstan and was leading after five rounds. Despite losses in the sixth and seventh rounds, Jahan managed to pull herself together and finish in the top three.
