In the 2025 academic year, higher education institutions of Turkmenistan provided training in 297 specialist programs, 176 bachelor's programs, and 24 master's programs.
In 2024, about 10 thousand specialists completed training in specialist programs, more than 4 thousand 900 in bachelor's programs and about 550 in master's programs. This was reported in the newspaper "Turkmenistan".
In 2025, the first intake of bachelors took place at the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, and the Turkmen Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications.
Master's programs were opened at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.
