After the official opening of the Turkmenistan pavilion at the World Expo 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the Japanese pavilion, TDH reports.
The Japanese exposition, built from environmentally friendly wood, has a round shape, symbolizing the continuity of life.
The head of state was presented with three main sections of the pavilion: “The Past”, introducing Japanese culture and traditions; “The Present”, demonstrating the country’s achievements in technology and energy; and “The Future”, presenting promising technologies, including artificial intelligence and robotics.
Special attention in the Japanese pavilion is given to issues of ecology, waste recycling and a closed-loop economy. After completing the inspection, the President of Turkmenistan left for Tokyo, where his visit to Japan will continue.
The World Expo 2025 opened on April 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima in the Japanese prefecture of Osaka and will run until October 13. EXPO 2025 will involve 158 countries and regions, as well as seven international organizations.
Turkmenistan’s National Day at the exhibition was held on April 14. Turkmenistan presented a large-scale exposition at EXPO 2025, demonstrating the country’s potential in various sectors of the economy and culture.
