National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the progress of construction of the second stage and held a working meeting with the heads of relevant structures. This was reported by TDH.
During the visit, Chairman of the State Construction Committee of the city of Arkadag Deryageldy Orazov presented information on the projects of upcoming new buildings, including the design project of the “Ahalteke atlary” avenue, along which it is planned to install sculptural images of the legendary Akhal-Teke horses on pedestals with information about their origin and history.
Special attention was paid to the pace of construction of the second stage facilities, in the implementation of which more than 50 domestic companies and individual enterprises are participating. Both Turkmen and leading foreign companies are involved in the construction of medical cluster facilities.
Orazov also reported on the growing interest of international financial institutions in cooperation. Currently, measures are being taken to obtain grants for projects to implement new technologies, use renewable energy sources, as well as for the construction of a modern bus station and a high-tech production complex.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to adhere to the traditions of national architecture in construction and paid special attention to the quality of the materials used. He also gave instructions to accelerate the pace of construction of production facilities and to organize the export of planned products from local raw materials.
During the meeting, the mayor of the city of Arkadag, Gulshat Mammedova, informed about the preparations for the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, which is timed to coincide with the presentation of keys to new residential buildings to domestic horse breeders. The National Leader noted the special symbolism of holding this holiday in a new city in the original homeland of Ahal-Teke horses.
