On April 9, 2025, a meeting took place in Volgograd between the directors of two major textile complexes of Turkmenistan - Bayramali Textile Complex and Kahkin Textile Complex and representatives of local business community. The event was organized by the Committee for Economic Policy of Volgograd, with the support of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Russian Federation (Astrakhan).
During the meeting, the prospects for expanding mutual trade and improving business ties between Turkmenistan and the Volgograd region were discussed. The main topic of discussion was the export of textile products from Turkmenistan to the Volgograd region, as well as the possibility of organizing joint projects in the field of textile production.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their interest in further strengthening cooperation and implementing joint initiatives.
