The 12th Turkmen-German Health Forum has ended in Turkmenistan

The two-day XII Turkmen-German Health Forum, held in a digital format, concluded at the International Educational and Scientific Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. The event symbolically coincided with the celebration of World Health Day.

As reported by TDH, the forum was attended by professors from leading clinics in the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as numerous specialists from Turkmen medical institutions, including representatives of the International Educational and Scientific Center, the Directorate of International Medical Centers, the Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health, the International Scientific and Clinical Center for Physiology and regional health departments. Among the participants were also teachers and students from the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan.

Professor Klaus Parkhofer of the University Hospital Grosshadern in Munich in his welcoming speech expressed deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the initiative to hold regular meetings and attention to the development of the national healthcare system.

The forum program covered a wide range of topical issues, including modern methods of treating childhood diseases, pediatric rheumatology, bone marrow transplantation, treatment and psychosocial support for cancer patients, as well as the introduction of digital technologies in practical medicine.

Participants noted that this format of cooperation, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, has become an important platform for the exchange of experience between specialists and scientists, contributing to the expansion of effective bilateral interaction in key areas of modern medicine.

Following the forum, the parties emphasized the productivity of the dialogue that took place and expressed confidence that the discussions would lead to new joint projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening the health and well-being of the peoples of both countries.
