1. The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The head of state emphasized the significant role of the Olympic Council of Asia and the Association of National Olympic Committees in the development of sports and the promotion of Olympic values on a global scale, expressing confidence that the visit of the leaders of these organizations will contribute to the intensification of interaction and the implementation of joint initiatives.
7. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the President of the Olympic Committee of the State of Qatar Sheikh Johan bin Hamad Al Thani. The National Leader of the Turkmen people highly appreciated Qatar's achievements in the development of sports and confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to expand partnership in this area. The parties noted that the meeting would be an important step in taking sports cooperation to a new level and would contribute to the development of the Olympic movement. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty invited the Qatari side to take part in the international forum to be held in Ashgabat on December 12 in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
