President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the head of European diplomacy Kaja Kallas, during which he emphasized the country's interest in developing multilateral cooperation with the European Union. The meeting took place within the framework of the 20th “EU-Central Asia” Ministerial Meeting, which was attended by representatives of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The main topic of discussion was preparation for the first EU-Central Asia summit, which will be held on April 3-4 in Samarkand.

National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the projects of the facilities planned for construction on the territory of the new city, and also held a working meeting with the participation of the relevant leaders.
3. At a meeting with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of developing bilateral relations between the countries. The head of state noted that Turkmenistan intends to strengthen its strategic partnership with Uzbekistan for the benefit of both peoples. According to him, the relations are based on strong, time-tested ties of good neighborliness.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in a meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of Central Asian countries and the European Union. During the talks, the parties noted with satisfaction the strategic and long-term nature of friendly relations between the countries. Turkmenistan and Tajikistan actively cooperate not only at the bilateral level, but also within the framework of international organizations, including the UN, OIC, CIS, SCO and ECO.
5. A meeting of inter-parliamentary friendship groups created on a bilateral basis in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation took place. The meeting was held on the initiative of the Russian side and was held online. The parties noted that the creation of inter-parliamentary friendship groups increases the opportunities for exchanging experience in legislative activities and developing parliamentary diplomacy.

During her working visit to Bucharest, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Chinar Rustemova met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of National Education of Romania Gigel Paraschiv. The Romanian side expressed interest in establishing and further strengthening the established cooperation in the educational and scientific research spheres. The Deputy Minister thanked the Turkmen side for choosing Romanian universities to send young people to study abroad.
