1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the country's Muslims on the arrival of Gadyr Gijesi - the Night of Omnipotence. The President recalled that the Turkmen people, like the entire Islamic world, have since ancient times respected the blessed month of Oraza and the Night of Omnipotence. A meeting was held between the Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, Oguljahan Atabayeva, with the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of culture, as well as with female heads of the mass media of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the organizational status and significance of the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Interests of Children”, which will be held on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Charitable Foundation, were discussed in detail.
3. Relations between Turkmenistan and China maintain stable dynamics and are constantly deepening in various areas. This was stated by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in a letter to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the Novruz holiday. The young scientist presented a scientific paper entitled "Strengthening the Environmental Well-Being of the States Located Along the Great Silk Road." His research was unanimously approved by the scientific council and received high marks.
6. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the new Country Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Turkmenistan Chinwe Ogbonna. 1. The Turkmenistan national football team beat the Chinese Taipei team in an away match of the first round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying round. The group D match ended with a score of 2:1. The winners included Ahal forward Elman Tagayev and Arkadag midfielder Yazgylych Gurbanov. In the next round, Turkmenistan will host Thailand on June 10, while the Chinese Taipei team will play away against Sri Lanka.
