From March 20, foreign citizens of 67 countries will be able to enter Belarus with electronic visas. Information about this was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus to the BELTA news agency.
The new type of visa has the following characteristics:
- Single and individual nature
- Maximum validity period – 30 days
- Available categories: business trips, participation in sports, cultural, scientific and educational events, internships, private visits and tourism
The process of obtaining an electronic visa is fully automated and does not require a personal visit to Belarusian diplomatic missions or the provision of visa support documents.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry emphasizes that all previously introduced visa-free regimes continue to operate in full.
