On March 29, the city of Arkadag will host an international conference, “Year of Peace and Trust: Developing International Activities for the Sake of Children,” organized by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
The forum, dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the Charitable Foundation, will be held under the auspices of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
In Turkmenistan, a huge amount of work is being done to ensure the most favorable conditions for the comprehensive physical and mental development of a child, providing medical, social and other assistance, and supporting young Turkmen citizens. The international forum will become a platform for consolidating international efforts in the name of children.
Let us remind that the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a telephone conversation with the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, invited a high-ranking delegation of the Russian Federation to participate in the upcoming forum.
Having thanked for the invitation, Valentina Matviyenko noted the readiness of Russian parliamentarians to take part in the events planned for this year in Turkmenistan, primarily in the conference dedicated to international activities in the name of children, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
