President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declared his continued support for Turkmenistan’s peacekeeping initiatives. The corresponding statement is contained in a letter addressed to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.

“Kazakhstan consistently supports Turkmenistan’s peacekeeping efforts and shares the desire for an open and constructive dialogue in the name of universal peace and goodness,” the message from the head of the Kazakh state says.

It was previously reported that the President of Kazakhstan confirmed his participation in the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 in Ashgabat.

The International Forum of Peace and Trust is planned to be held at the level of heads of state and heads of international structures. The event is timed to coincide with the proclamation by the UN General Assembly of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust on the initiative of Turkmenistan, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.

“I am confident that the upcoming forum will become an important platform for exchanging views and developing practical solutions on pressing issues on the international agenda,” the head of Kazakhstan noted.
