Today, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurny.
D. Gulmanova acquainted the ambassador with the priority areas of the country’s domestic and foreign policy, the composition of the national Parliament, as well as with the work on legislative support for program reforms in the economic, cultural, and social spheres, the Mejlis website reports.
It was emphasized that the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation will contribute to enriching the content of Turkmen-Belarusian relations, and an important role in this is given to the activities of inter-parliamentary friendship groups created on a bilateral basis.
