Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ms. Batmunkhin Battsetseg discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation during a telephone conversation.
Particular attention was paid to the preparation and conduct of visits at the highest state level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The diplomats also reviewed the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN, and exchanged views on strengthening the legal framework for cooperation.
Let us remind that after his visit to Ashgabat in October 2024, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh invited Turkmenistan’s leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov to pay a state visit to Mongolia.
