The delegation of Turkmenistan, consisting of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, made a working visit to the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, from February 4 to 6, 2025. The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship and industry, explore investment opportunities and increase the volume of bilateral trade, the CCIT reports.
A meeting of the Turkmen delegation with representatives of the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia and the Halal Development Corporation of Malaysia was held in the building of the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia. During the talks, issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, development of the tourism industry, as well as preparations for the International Forum on Attracting Foreign Investments in the Economy of Turkmenistan, which is scheduled for April 23-24, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, were discussed.
Let us recall that in December 2024, during the official visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Malaysia, a number of documents were signed aimed at developing trade and economic relations between the two countries.
