Turkmenistan

1. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a telephone conversation, invited the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Ashgabat for the upcoming Forum of the International Year of Peace and Trust in December this year. In turn, Sadyr Japarov invited the National Leader of the Turkmen people to visit the Kyrgyz Republic at any convenient time.

2. Chemen Vekilova, a teacher of English at the International University of Humanities and Development, visited the city of Norwich as part of a delegation of teachers from Central Asia. This trip was organized as part of the British Council program with the aim of improving skills, exchanging experiences and in-depth study of the English language and culture.

3. On April 23-24, Kuala Lumpur will host the International Forum to attract foreign investment in the economy of Turkmenistan, where one of the key speakers will be the Secretary General of the International Energy Charter, Atsuko Hirose. She will speak at the fifth session of the forum, which will focus on strategies to reduce methane and CO₂ emissions, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies in the energy sector.

4. A meeting was held at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador of the United States of America Elizabeth Rood. The meeting was devoted to strengthening Turkmen-American cooperation in the field of education. The importance of continuing work to improve curricula, improve the professional skills of teachers, and expand educational cooperation between educational institutions of the two countries was emphasized.

5. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the monument to the country's first president Islam Karimov in Tashkent, where he laid flowers in honor of his birthday. 6. A passenger plane and a military helicopter collided in the air over Washington on the evening of January 29 near Reagan National Airport. An American Airlines passenger plane collided with a US military Black Hawk helicopter, causing both aircraft to crash.There were 64 people on board the passenger liner, including 60 passengers and four crew members. The military helicopter carrying out a training flight had a crew of three military personnel. No survivors have been found at this time.

8. The young Turkmen athlete Sulgun Ishankuliyeva won the international tournament TEN-PRO Global Junior Tour in Dubai, leaving no chance for her rivals in the age category up to 11 years. In the final match, she confidently beat the representative of Georgia with a score of 6:2, 6:1. On the way to victory, Ishankuliyeva consistently beat athletes from Algeria, the UAE, Russia and Kazakhstan.
