Today, political consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov, and the Chinese delegation was headed by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Liu Bin.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed key areas of the bilateral agenda, including issues of political and diplomatic dialogue, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian partnership.
The topic of the participation of the Chinese side in the planned high-level events within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust was touched upon, and the importance of the activities of inter-parliamentary friendship groups and participation in joint events was noted.
