A team of schoolchildren from Turkmenistan participates in the XXI International Zhautykov Olympiad in mathematics, physics and computer science “IZhO-2025”, which takes place in Astana from January 13 to 17.
The international competition is held on the basis of Astana IT University and the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics, equipped to host Olympiads of this level, "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.
About 700 schoolchildren and 150 teacher-leaders from 15 countries are participating in the Olympiad.
The five-day competition includes 2 rounds - theoretical and practical. The competition objectives correspond to the program of specialized classes and were developed by an international jury.
The International Zhautykov Olympiad has been held since 2005 and traditionally promotes the popularization of physical and mathematical sciences among schoolchildren.
