1. “Turkmenistan” Airlines announced the organization of a combined alternative flight on the Moscow-Ashgabat route. The new schedule affects passengers who had tickets for flights from January 2 to 13. Departure is scheduled for January 6 at 23:55 Moscow time from Domodedovo Airport.

2. In Ashgabat, the winners of the special children's award named after Gulbaba were honored, organized by the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the Ministry of Education of the country. This year, the winners of the award were 90 most worthy children and two children's creative groups.

3. At the 26th “Big World of Ice and Snow” Festival in Harbin, China, an exact ice replica of the Ashgabat Wedding Palace “Bagt köşgi” was presented. The craftsmen reproduced all the elements of the building in detail, including the elegant patterns on the facade and the characteristic cube with octagonal sides. The ice sculpture of the palace became part of a large-scale exhibition dedicated to the sights of 42 countries participating in the Olympic Council of Asia. 300 thousand cubic meters of ice and snow were used to create the park.

5. Turkmen Agricultural University has joined the Silk Road Universities Alliance. The Silk Road Universities Alliance is a non-governmental, non-profit organization aimed at developing international cooperation in higher education. It was created in 2015 within the framework of the foreign policy initiative of the People's Republic of China "One Belt, One Road" and unites about 170 universities.

The team consists of 15 players, including 5 foreign players. According to the results of the draw, the Turkmen team got into group C, where they will meet with the teams of Uzbekistan, Australia, the Philippines and Kuwait. Mingazov's team will play their first match on January 11 against the Australian team. All group C matches will be held in Tashkent from January 11 to 19.
