“Turkmenistan” Airlines to organize alternative routes for Moscow-Bangkok flights, Ashgabat to host Indian film musical evening, Uzbekistan to raise fees for entry of trucks from Turkmenistan and other news

1. Due to the cancellation of the flight on the Moscow-Ashgabat route, “Turkmenistan” Airlines is organizing alternative routes via Istanbul for passengers of transit flights Moscow-Bangkok, scheduled for January 3 and 4.

2. Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital are invited to a musical evening of Indian cinema, which will be held on January 9 at the Mukam Palace. The evening is organized by the Embassy of India jointly with the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. The concert program includes music from legendary Indian films performed by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Rasul Klychev.

3. According to the law on the state budget of Uzbekistan for 2025, the government has revised the rates of fees for entry of foreign trucks into the territory of the republic. For trucks registered in Turkmenistan, new tariffs have been established depending on the carrying capacity - up to 10 tons – 130 USD, from 10 to 20 tons – 180 USD, over 20 tons – 250 USD.

4. Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill wished the President of Turkmenistan success in his work in his New Year's greetings. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church noted that the past year was marked by many events and achievements of mankind in various spheres.
