Early in the morning of January 1, 2025, a boy weighing 4 kilograms 100 grams and measuring 54 cm was born to Orazjahan and Yazmergen Atageldyev from the city of Arkadag. The baby, who was named Parakhat, became the first newborn in Turkmenistan in the new year. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the family on the birth of their son and sent gifts.
The mother of the newborn, Orazjahan Atageldyeva, in an interview with the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper, expressed gratitude to the head of state and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, noting that it is a great honor for her to be the mother of the first child of the year, which has been declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust.” She hopes that her son will grow up to be a worthy citizen of the country.
