1. Turkmenistan intends to expand cooperation with the IAEA in the field of nuclear medicine to develop cancer care in the country. This was stated by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during an inspection of the construction of the International Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center. "It is necessary to intensify cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency in the field of healthcare, in particular, nuclear medicine, and hold consultations with its representatives. This is especially important to ensure the safety of waste management at the new facility," the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted.
2. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Serdar Muhammetdurdyev signed the condolence book at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ashgabat in connection with the loss of life in the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane. On behalf of the Turkmen side, he conveyed sincere condolences to the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan.
3. The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan has expanded the language availability of its official website by adding a version in the Turkmen language. 5. The seaport of Astrakhan received 18 tons of tomatoes from Turkmenistan. Rosselkhoznadzor specialists checked two batches of these products and issued phytosanitary certificates based on laboratory tests. This year, 90 batches of Turkmen tomatoes with a total weight of more than 835 tons were imported to the Astrakhan region, which is five times more than the amount for the previous year.
