Iran’s first flight with female crew and passengers successfully completed

An Iranian Aseman Airline plane, led by the country’s first female pilot, Sharzad Shams, landed at Mashhad Airport on December 22, TASS reported, citing IRNA.

The flight was unique not only in its crew – all 110 passengers on board were also women.

The flight was timed to coincide with Mother’s Day.
