A magnetic construction set is one of the most dangerous toys for children, says pediatrician Olga Tatarkina, writes gazeta.ru with reference to "Izvestia".
According to the pediatrician, the main threat is the possibility of swallowing magnetic parts. Strong magnetic interactions between elements can cause serious damage to the digestive tract, including perforation of the stomach and intestines. In this regard, the expert recommends completely avoiding such gifts for children of any age.
The doctor also compiled a list of other potentially dangerous toys that you should avoid when choosing a gift. It includes toy flying vehicles, including the popular flying fairies and helicopters, BB guns, and sharp toy weapons such as darts and swords.
