1. On December 12, Turkmenistan celebrated the 29th anniversary of permanent neutrality. In an address to compatriots, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that neutrality is an important means of maintaining stability and security, implementing peace initiatives, and resolving important issues at the international level through dialogue.Festive events on the occasion of the holiday were held throughout the country. In the morning, the head of Turkmenistan laid flowers at the Monument of Neutrality, then the head of state took part in a festive concert.

2. On the eve of the holiday, a grand opening ceremony of the new two-story training and service center “Kamaz” was held in the city of Dashoguz. The center is located on Bitaraplyk street next to the Dashoguz-Airport highway. It is equipped with the latest Russian-made equipment for diagnostics, maintenance and repair of the entire line of “Kamaz” equipment.

3. Among the new buildings in the northern region of Turkmenistan, 70 new one-story and two-story cottage houses, as well as four-story houses with increased comfort, were also opened. A secondary school for 600 students, a kindergarten for 240 children, a health center, a household services center and several stores were also opened.

4. Five four-story residential buildings have been commissioned on Aytakov street in the city of Turkmenbashy. Each building has 60 apartments with improved layout and comfortable living conditions.

5. A sadaka was given in the Geokdepe Mosque on the occasion of the pilgrimage of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to the Holy Kaaba. The sadaka was attended by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Mufti of Turkmenistan read verses from the Holy Quran, offering prayers for the acceptance of the pilgrimage and the repose of the souls of the departed. In his address, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the successes of Turkmenistan in the year of the “Wisdom of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” and emphasized the importance of observing national traditions and customs. After the ceremony, the participants of the sadaka were served national cuisine, and the Mufti of Turkmenistan read prayers for the well-being and prosperity of the country.

6. The city of Arkadag has been awarded the prestigious European Society for Quality Research Award. The ceremony took place in Vienna. The prestigious award highlights the success of the city of Arkadag, which combines advanced technologies with environmentally friendly practices, as a model of sustainable urbanization.

7. Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of Turkmenistan to the statutory and other bodies of the CIS Nazarguly Shagulyev took part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth. In his speech, he noted that Turkmenistan will promote further development and strengthening of cooperation and partnership based on equality, good neighborliness and mutual respect.

8. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the head of the “Vozrozhdenie” Group of Design and Construction Companies Igor Bukato. Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the significant contribution of the “Vozrozhdenie” company to the economic development of Turkmenistan and emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation. During the meeting, projects for the construction of modern residential buildings, the development of transport infrastructure and the improvement of the environmental situation in the capital were discussed.

9. The author and performer of oriental hits Arsen Shahunc will perform a New Year's solo concert in Ashgabat. The artist's concert will take place on December 27 at 18:00 on the stage of the Winter Sports Complex. Tickets for the concert can be purchased at the box office of the sports complex from December 20, the cost of the ticket is 100 and 150 manats.

10. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has announced the launch of a project to build a unique ski resort, which will be the largest in the CIS and Central Asia. During the grand opening ceremony of the international airport in Karakol, the head of state spoke about a new tourism megaproject called Jyrgalan - Bozuchuk - Akbulak. Located just 70 kilometers from the newly built airport, the resort will be able to receive up to one million tourists annually and will operate all year round.

11. Turkmen chess players from Lebap velayat Maksat Avlyakuliev and Aiya Bayramova won two silver medals at the Asian Rapid Chess Championship among schoolchildren in Bangkok. The competition in the capital of Thailand brought together 555 participants from 31 countries, who competed for the title of the strongest in six age categories.

12. “Arkadag” won 7:2 against “Nebitchi” in the first match of the 1/2 finals of the Turkmenistan Football Cup. The match was held in Balkanabat. The return match between the rivals is expected to take place on December 20 in Ashgabat. The winner of the match will advance to the final against the strongest in the “Ahal” – “Altyn Asyr” pair.
