President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on awarding foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations with a commemorative silver badge “Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna”, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.The award was presented for a special contribution to the preservation and popularization of the heritage of the classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi, strengthening the country’s cultural ties with the international community, as well as for the development of friendship and cooperation between peoples.
Among the recipients are ambassadors of 30 countries, representatives of the UN, OSCE, Vatican, as well as heads of international financial and humanitarian organizations working in Turkmenistan. This initiative became part of the events dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
