The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova received credentials from the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Turkmenistan Jaap Ora.
During the conversation, the Plenipotentiary Representative Jaap Ora was acquainted with the priorities of Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy, the most important vector of which is the establishment of broad international cooperation in the interests of peace, global security and universal well-being.
Particular emphasis was placed on the implementation of large-scale socio-economic reforms initiated by the President of the country, state programs aimed at improving the well-being and quality of life of Turkmen citizens.
During the meeting, which was held in a businesslike, constructive manner, a thorough exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues of long-term productive partnership, initially built from the standpoint of equality and mutual benefit.
The diplomat was also acquainted with the structure and legislative activities of the Turkmen parliament.
Noting his country’s interest in intensifying cooperation with independent neutral Turkmenistan in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, Jaap Ora assured of his readiness to promote the comprehensive deepening of traditionally friendly bilateral relations.
