From December 4 to 6, the II International Book Forum for Children and Teenagers was held in Moscow, organized by the Russian State Children's Library with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS.
The main goal of the forum was to strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties, discuss new opportunities for libraries and their role in serving young readers. Heads of state and national libraries, writers, and specialists in children's literature, books, and reading from the CIS countries were invited to the event.
The forum was attended by representatives of the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the State Children's Library named after B. Amanov, who made vivid and informative reports.
The forum became an important platform for exchanging experiences and discussing new approaches to popularizing reading among children and adolescents.
