The new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the IsNew Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Tehran Presents Copies of Credentials lslamic Republic of Iran, Ilyas Gayipov, presented copies of his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on November 30.
As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry congratulated Y. Gayipov and expressed his readiness to assist in the further development of Turkmen-Iranian relations, the distinctive feature of which is a trusting and constructive dialogue.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran. The intensification of the partnership between the two countries on the entire spectrum of issues of mutual interest was noted.

Recall that by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated November 24, Ylyas Akmuhammedovich Gayipov was appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran with residence in Tehran.
