The opening ceremony of the II Turkmen-Uzbek interregional forum was held in the city of Turkmenabat, which brought together representatives of both countries to expand bilateral economic and cultural cooperation. The event included a national exhibition of Uzbek goods and a series of thematic conferences aimed at developing partnerships in various industries.
The key areas of the forum were trade and economic cooperation, cultural exchange and humanitarian interaction. The exhibition featured pavilions of companies from various sectors of the economy – from the mining and metallurgical industry to the production of household appliances and food products.
Within the framework of the business program, the participants discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the agricultural sector, energy, chemical industry, mechanical engineering and pharmaceuticals. The parties' interest in creating joint ventures and exchanging innovative technological solutions was particularly emphasized.
The cultural program of the forum included a joint concert of masters of arts from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan at the State Musical and Drama Theater of Lebap velayat, which emphasized the deep spiritual and cultural ties between the two countries.
The forum demonstrated the desire of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to strengthen interstate relations and search for new forms of mutually beneficial cooperation.
