Creative Japanese manicurist Naomi Arimoto has found a unique way to draw attention to the problem of environmental pollution. She creates exclusive false nails using plastic waste collected on the local coast, writes daily.afisha.ru with reference to Reuters.

The 42-year-old master regularly carries out thorough beach cleanups, sifting the sand in search of the smallest plastic particles. After collecting the material, she masterfully integrates the found fragments into bright and unusual nail art. Each set of nails, priced at $82.52, becomes not only a fashion accessory, but also a message of environmental responsibility.

Naomi's story is notable not only for her creative approach. Several years ago, the woman was forced to leave her job as a social worker due to health problems and disability. However, she found the strength to transform a difficult life situation into an opportunity for creativity and a social mission.

“I hope that if people see these things and hold them in their fingertips, they will start to enjoy fashion and also become more aware of environmental issues,” says Arimoto.
