1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the deputies of the Mejlis to discuss with the population of the country the issue of determining the motto and emblem of 2025. During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the head of state emphasized that, on the initiative of Turkmenistan, the Resolution "International Year of Peace and Trust, 2025" was adopted at the 63rd plenary meeting of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. In this regard, he noted that in 2025, numerous international events are planned to be held both in Turkmenistan and in other countries of the world.

2. In the first ten months of 2024, Turkmenistan's economy demonstrated steady growth - the country's GDP increased by 6,3%. The highest growth was recorded in the construction sector – 10,9%. Significant dynamics were also shown by the trade sector (9%) and the services sector (8,6%). The transport and communications complex grew by 6,7%, agriculture - by 5,3%, and the industrial sector - by 2,5%.

3. On November 16, the Turkmen city of Anau will host a final gala event dedicated to the completion of its mission as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. The event will include a meeting of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of TURKSOY and a festive concert with the participation of artists from the Turkic states.

4. An exhibition of works by Turkmen artists dedicated to the harvest festival has opened at the State Museum of Fine Arts. The dominant genre is still lifes depicting juicy and appetizing fruits. The second theme after still life, which most often attracts Turkmen artists, is the work of rural residents.

5. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Takeshi Iwaya discussed preparations for the first summit "Central Asia + Japan" at the level of heads of state. During the telephone conversation, the parties considered key issues of bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

6. The Regional Ministerial Conference "Eradicating Statelessness in Central Asia" was held in Ashgabat, where the countries of the region demonstrated impressive achievements in solving this problem. As noted by UNHCR Assistant High Commissioner for Legal Protection Ruvendrini Menikdiwela, Central Asia occupies a leading position in the world, and Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan became the first countries to completely eradicate known cases of statelessness on their territory. According to the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan has granted citizenship to more than 32 thousand stateless persons and more than 5 thousand residence permits, completely resolving this issue on its territory.

7. A two-day methodological conference dedicated to improving work in preschool institutions is being held in Ashgabat. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan jointly with the Ashgabat City Department of General Education on the basis of the 183rd kindergarten.

8. Uzbek blogger Abdurakhmon Fozilov traveled to Antarctica, where he planted the flags of all Central Asian countries. This unique event became a symbol of unity and friendship between the peoples of the region. Fozilov captured on video the solemn moment of planting the national flags of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan on the icy continent. "Forward!" the blogger proclaimed in the languages of all five countries of the region, emphasizing the common goals and aspirations of the peoples of Central Asia.

9. After a major restoration that lasted five years, the famous Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral once again filled Paris with the ringing of its bells. This is the first time since the devastating fire of 2019 that the ancient vaults of the cathedral heard the voices of its bells. The revival of the symbol of Paris began on the initiative of President Emmanuel Macron immediately after the tragedy of April 19, 2019, when the flames caused serious damage to the building, including the northern bell tower. The large-scale restoration project involved 250 companies and many specialists, and the cost of the work reached several hundred million euros.

10. Zarina Abdyrahmanova and Gulzada Jorakuliyeva brought bronze medals to the Turkmenistan national team on the first day of the World Sambo Championships, which is taking place in Astana. This year, the world championship brought together a record number of participants - about 470 athletes from 80 countries. The significance of the event was emphasized by the presence of legendary sambo wrestler Fedor Emelianenko at the opening ceremony. Competitions are held in various weight categories among men and women, as well as in the discipline of combat sambo.

11. Football club “Abdysh-Ata” from Kant became unattainable for its pursuers two rounds before the end of the Kyrgyzstan championship, defeating its archrival “Dordoi” with a score of 1:0. This is the third championship title in a row for the team from Kant. The winners include midfielder of the Turkmenistan national team Teymur Charyev, for whom this is already the second championship with “Abdysh-Ata” since he joined the club in March 2023.
