1. The international conference and exhibition "Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan" has concluded in Ashgabat. On the final day of the event, the fifth session was held, dedicated to technological innovations and training qualified personnel for the economy of Turkmenistan. The culmination of the conference was the award ceremony for the participants of the exhibition and conference. At the end of the event, an address from the CIET 2024 participants to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was read.
2. Turkmen companies have received an invitation to participate in the second China International Supply Chain Expo, which will be held in late November 2024 in Beijing. The event, the world's first national exhibition specializing in supply chains, will be held at the International Expo Center in the Chinese capital from November 26 to 30. About 50 different areas and key elements of the supply chain will be presented on an area of more than 100 000 square meters. The main focus of the exhibition is on the development of services within the framework of the “Belt and Road” Initiative. The exposition will cover such important areas as smart transportation, advanced manufacturing, green agriculture, clean energy and digital technologies.
3. The summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) kicked off in Bishkek on Wednesday. The leaders of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of Hungary and Turkmenistan are taking part in its work. The Turkmen side is represented by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nury Golliyev. The main document to be adopted following the summit will be the Bishkek Declaration, which will formulate the status of the organization. In addition, the parties will discuss issues of cooperation in the field of "green economy".
4. Students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries are invited to take part in the III International Internet Olympiad in Biology, which will be held on November 20 at the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan. Registration of participants continues until November 10. Those wishing to participate in the Olympiad must submit an application for participation on the website of the medical university. Students who have registered will be sent a login and password for participation to the e-mail address they specified the day before the Olympiad.
5. The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the Ministerial session of the High-Level Conference held in Kuwait. The event was devoted to issues of international cooperation in the field of countering terrorism and improving border security mechanisms within the framework of the Dushanbe process. In his speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov emphasized the country's commitment to combating threats to peace and security at both the national and international levels.

7. A new attraction will appear in the Black Canyon of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan - a suspended glass bridge. This year, about 400 thousand tourists visited the Kolsay and Kaiyndy lakes. Many of them, enchanted by the beauty of the local nature, also looked into the picturesque Kortogay gorge. Given such high interest, it was decided to turn this place into a full-fledged tourist zone. To begin with, 600 million tenge were allocated from the state budget for the electrification of the territory. In addition, private investors have shown interest in the project, ready to invest their funds in the development of infrastructure. The bridge, 170 meters long and 80 meters high, will be one of the longest and highest glass bridges in the region.

The head coach of the Turkmen “Altyn Asyr”, Yazkuli Hojageldyev, held a pre-match press conference on the eve of the meeting with the Saudi “Al-Taawun” in the 4th round of the AFC-2 Champions League. 9. Guvanchmuhammed Ovekov was unanimously elected as the new chairman of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan at an extraordinary election conference held in Ashgabat on November 4. After completing his professional career, Ovekov worked on the coaching staff of “Ahal”, then headed the football clubs “Ahal” and “Arkadag”. Under his leadership, Ahal achieved a “golden double” in 2022, winning the championship and the Cup of Turkmenistan, and “Arkadag” achieved similar success the following season. It is noteworthy that both teams spent their championship seasons without a single defeat.
