1. Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to the King of Spain Philip VI in connection with floods in the kingdom caused by strong rainfall and led to numerous human casualties, injuries and large -scale destruction. On behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own personally, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed the words of sincere empathy and support to the relatives and friends of the dead at this difficult moment, as well as the wishes of the speedy recovery to the victims.

2. From November 13 to 15, the international film festival “Gorkut ata” will be held in Turkmenistan, the opening and closure ceremony of which will be held at the Mukamov Palace of the State Cultural Center of the country within the framework of the festival, a meeting of filmmakers of the Member States of Turks at the Ashgabat Hotel. The shows of competitive films will be organized on three venues: in the cinema “Ashgabat” and the film concert centers “Turkmenistan” and “Watan”.

3. In Ashgabat, they are preparing for the international business forum on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Turkmenistan and VISA. On the agenda of this forum, which is proposed to be held on November 27, the issues of strategic partnership with VISA, as well as the development of advanced technologies and innovations of the international payment system, will be issued.

4. In order to improve the housing conditions of the employees of the State concern “Turkmenneft” in the city of Turkmenbashy, the construction of 4-four-story residential buildings of 40 apartments in each is scheduled for the construction of 4 four-story residential buildings.

In Bishkek on November 6, the next eleventh summit of the organization of the Turkic states will be held, in which the heads of five member states of the organization, as well as the leaders of the observer countries, will take part. The theme of the upcoming summit is “Strengthening the Turkic world: economic integration, sustainable development, digital future and security for all.” According to the results of the summit, the chairmanship of OTG for 2025 will go to Kyrgyzstan.

7. Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to the athletes of national teams, who achieved high results at international competitions of 2024. In his appeal, the head of state emphasized that thanks to the large-scale initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag, the authority of the country on the world sports arena has risen to a new level, and the development of sports and a healthy lifestyle remains a priority area of state policy.

8. The Ashgabat Open 2024 International Tennis Tournament among athletes under 14 years old will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan from November 8 to 17. About 70 young men and women from 12 countries, including Great Britain, Türkiye, India, Pakistan, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Central Asia, will take part in the competition. The tournament will be held at the Tennis Complex of the Ashgabat Olympic Village.

9. The “Arkadag” football club from Turkmenistan lost 2:3 away to Kuwaiti “Al-Arabi” in the final round of the AFC Challenge League group stage, but despite the defeat, it retained first place in group “B” and for the first time in its history made it to the quarterfinals of the third most important club tournament in Asia. In the quarterfinals, which will take place in the spring of 2025, the Turkmen club will meet with Indian “East Bengal”. The matches will be held on March 5 and 12 in a home and away format.
