On November 2, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a mass ascent along the Path of Health took place. The State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports this.

This event was held in honor of the adoption at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly of the Resolution “United Nations Friendship Games” initiated by Turkmenistan.

Before the mass ascent, a competition was announced to complete the Path of Health among representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations, university students, as well as employees of ministries and departments.

Early in the morning, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s car arrived at the beginning of the Health Path, where the head of state was warmly greeted by those gathered.

The President of Turkmenistan watched with interest the musical and song performances of masters of culture and art and began climbing the Path of Health. Following the example of the head of state, the Chairman of the Mejlis, members of the Government, heads and representatives of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, public organizations, the media, diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, rectors of higher educational institutions and students joined the ascent .

More than 6 thousand people took part in the mass climb along the Health Path.

During the ascent along the Path of Health, the head of state, addressing Deputy Prime Minister B. Annamammedov, instructed to keep under constant control the issues of modernizing the city’s infrastructure, maintaining parks and public gardens, as well as creating favorable living conditions for the population and opportunities for sports.

At the end of the mass ascent, a ceremony was held to honor the athletes of the national teams of Turkmenistan who won prizes in international competitions. The winners of the competition for completing the Health Path were also awarded, the source notes.
