The elements, accompanied by hurricane winds with speeds of up to 95 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 115 km / h, caused catastrophic floods and landslides. The situation is especially difficult in the province of Batangas, where 17 people are listed as missing. Another 10 people disappeared in other regions of the country. Many locals fled from the rapidly rising water on the roofs of their houses.
