A delegation consisting of teachers from the Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology of Turkmenistan went on a visit to Krasnoyarsk, to the Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after M.F. Reshetnev.
According to the IIC, the university trains specialists for the aerospace industry, so the purpose of the visit of the Turkmen representatives included studying the educational process and discussing cooperation for joint research in telecommunications and satellite communications, as well as improving the quality of education.
During the visit, meetings were held with teachers and heads of departments, current research was discussed, including projects on small spacecraft and the use of VR and AR technologies in education.
The meetings contributed to the exchange of experience for further inter-university cooperation, the source notes.
