Today, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh arrived in Ashgabat on his first state visit at the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan. The distinguished guest was met at the Ashgabat International Airport by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdayev and other officials.
According to the Press Service of the President of Mongolia, this is the first high-level visit since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992.
This visit of President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to Ashgabat is of great importance for strengthening friendly relations and enhancing economic cooperation between Mongolia and Turkmenistan and other Central Asian countries.
As noted, during the visit, bilateral talks at the highest level will be held and a number of documents will be signed. Also, tomorrow, the Mongolian delegation will take part in the international forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development” dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi.
