National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of his birthday. In his address, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the successes of Tajikistan under the leadership of Emomali Rahmon and expressed readiness to further strengthen bilateral relations, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted Tajikistan's significant progress in the international arena, achieved thanks to the “wise and far-sighted leadership” of Rahmon.
The message paid special attention to the recent meetings in Dushanbe, which, according to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, “gave a powerful impetus to strengthening the ties of friendship between our fraternal peoples and deepening ties between the two countries in various fields”.
“We remain committed to further cooperation and support proposals and initiatives to expand interaction between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan”, - the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized in his message.
In conclusion of the message, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished Emomali Rahmon good health, family well-being and happiness, and the brotherly people of Tajikistan – peace, progress and prosperity.
