Bucharest hosted an Asian Culture Festival, where Turkmenistan made a vibrant presentation of its cultural heritage. The event, organized jointly by the embassies of 13 countries with the support of the Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum, attracted the attention of Romanian officials, diplomats, public figures and residents of the capital.

The national stand of Turkmenistan presented modern national costumes, traditional carpets, musical instruments and handicrafts. Of particular interest was the exhibition of scientific works of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty and the works of the classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi in various languages, including Romanian.

The festival's musical program included a performance by Turkmen musicians with national folklore pieces on the dutar. Employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan told visitors about the influence of Magtymguly Fragi's work on the development of the Turkmen language, literature and national identity.

The festival ended with a presentation of the national cuisine of the participating countries, where guests were able to appreciate Turkmen culinary traditions. The event contributed to strengthening cultural ties between Turkmenistan and other participating countries, and also introduced the residents of Bucharest to the rich cultural heritage of Central Asia.
