Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov outlined the key directions of economic development of the country, emphasizing their importance for improving the social and living standards of the population.
As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports, speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that sustainable economic growth is a fundamental factor in the progress of the state.
In his speech, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted several main indicators of the economic power of Turkmenistan. Among them: a high level of per capita income, high labor productivity in all sectors of the economy, an accelerated pace of economic reforms, the development of human capital and scientific and technological progress, as well as the country's competitiveness on the world stage.
Chairman Halk Maslahaty emphasized that the main task for Turkmenistan remains further socio-economic development and strengthening the international authority of the country as a neutral state.
