1. During a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced plans to award citizens who have distinguished themselves in their work. The ceremony will take place at the end of this year. The head of state noted that the anniversary events related to the anniversary of the Turkmen philosopher are continuing. He emphasized the significant contribution of creative figures, writers and poets to these events.

2. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution “On the announcement of the competition for the Prize of the President of Turkmenistan “Golden Age of Turkmens” among figures of literature, culture and art, amateur young singers and gifted children”. The resolution prescribes to ensure the participation of foreign citizens who have expressed a desire to take part in the competition. The Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan will be published in full in the newspaper “Edebiýat we sungat”.

3. Turkmenistan is preparing to open a multifunctional solar and wind power plant with a capacity of 10 megawatts in the Gyzylarbat etrap of the Balkan velayat. The opening of the power plant will be held on the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex of Turkmenistan, which is celebrated in the country on November 3. Also, on this significant date, a ceramics manufacturing plant will be opened in the Baherden etrap of the Ahal velayat.

4. The Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan will build a textile complex for the production of cotton yarn, cotton and terry fabrics, as well as finished garments in the Saparmurat Turkmenbashy etrap of the Dashoguz velayat. The new textile complex will produce and export high-quality, environmentally friendly import-substituting textile products, and will also create new jobs.

5. A delegation from the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts arrived in Ashgabat to discuss cooperation and possible exhibitions. One of the interesting topics for cooperation is the Bactrian culture. By the end of the 1980s, Victor Sarianidi had discovered more than 200 settlements in the Merv oasis in southeastern Turkmenistan, with Gonur-Depe as its center. These excavations indicated the existence of a previously unknown center of the Ancient East civilization – the Bactrian-Margiana archaeological culture, dating back to the Bronze Age in Central Asia.

6. In November-December 2024, Turkmenistan will host three major international scientific and practical conferences with the participation of scientists and students from 14 countries. The events will cover current issues of chemical technology, teaching foreign languages and the development of biotechnology in the agricultural sector. The conferences will be held at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.

7. In the US state of Utah, an unusual landscaping project has attracted public attention. A creative drawing by 11 years old local resident Rosili Olson formed the basis for a project to reconstruct a children's play area. 8. Robot Era from China has achieved impressive results in the development of a bipedal robot. Their latest development, the humanoid Star1, has demonstrated outstanding running abilities on rough terrain. During tests in the Gobi Desert, the robot, wearing special running shoes, reached a speed of 3.6 meters per second, maintaining this speed for 34 minutes. Notably, the presence of running shoes significantly improved Star1's performance compared to tests without shoes. The humanoid, 1.71 meters tall and weighing 65 kilograms, is equipped with advanced technologies. Its design uses powerful motors, and artificial intelligence controls the movement of the robotic limbs.

9. A group of climbers from Turkmenistan successfully conquered the eighth highest mountain in the world – Manaslu, which is over 8 thousand meters high and is located in the Himalayas. The national flag of Turkmenistan was unfurled at the top of the mountain in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence. Experienced climbers from Turkmenistan, as well as citizens of other countries, took part in the expedition.

10. At the General Assembly of the Asian Tennis Federation in Hong Kong, the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan was recognized as one of the most dynamically developing organizations in Asia. ATF President Yuri Polsky personally presented a commemorative trophy to the Chairman of the Turkmen Federation Eziz Dovletov at an event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the organization.
