Today, the next session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan began in the capital’s Maslahat köşgi Palace under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.
The most important issues of state life were brought up for discussion at the national forum, held on the eve of the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the country’s independence. These issues are designed to ensure the happiness and well-being of the people, as well as the further successful advancement of the country along the path of progress and prosperity.
Following the original national traditions of democracy and democratic norms of modern Turkmen society, representatives of all strata of society and different generations were invited to participate in the meeting of the country’s highest representative body – from student youth to gray-haired elders and respected mothers, the source notes.
