Yesterday, a meeting was held between the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Gurbangeldyev and the Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sultanbay Raev. This was reported on the website of the ministry.
The parties exchanged views on events to be held in the framework of the announcement of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024, as well as in honor of the year of the great poet and thinker of the Turkic world, Magtymguly Fragi.
The current state of cooperation and priority areas for its development were discussed at the meeting. At the same time, the effective nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and TURKSOY, aimed at preserving, studying and popularizing the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic-speaking peoples, was emphasized.
S.Raev invited the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan to actively participate in the final events that will be held by TURKSOY in 2024.
The Minister of Education of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation will successfully develop within the framework of TURKSOY, noting that the country's education system will contribute to this.
