Online ticket purchase service for intercity bus routes is available in Turkmenistan. Passengers can purchase tickets through the public services portal e.gov.tm without leaving their homes.
The process of purchasing a ticket online is quite simple. Users need to go to the e.gov.tm portal, select the “Transport, logistics and customs service” section, then go to the “Intercity bus tickets” subsection. After that, you should specify the departure and arrival points, select the travel date and seat on the bus, and enter your phone number and the necessary payment details.
The cost of tickets varies depending on the route. For example, a bus ticket from Ashgabat to Turkmenbashy for an adult costs 65 manat, and for a child under 13 – 32.50 manat.
It Is important to note that the e.gov.tm portal provides more than 500 different public services, including over 40 online payments and services. In addition to purchasing transport tickets, users can make cashless payments for communications and utilities, as well as use other information systems.
