Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) Sok Chea presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova.
The Ambassador gratefully accepted the congratulatory words of the Turkmen side in connection with his appointment to the responsible post.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed positive experience of cooperation in international and regional formats, primarily the UN. Issues of establishing interaction between the parliaments of the two countries were touched upon.
In the area of establishing trade and economic cooperation, such formats as the organization of joint business forums and exhibitions were considered.
Mutual interest was expressed in expanding cultural and humanitarian ties, exchanging experience in the fields of science, education, culture and tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
